The following requirements and notices apply to all users visiting the Graduate Program on Global Society website (hereafter referred to as “the website” to refer to all pages with addresses with the domain name of gsp.c.u-tokyo.ac.jp).

Although the Graduate Program on Global Society (hereafter “GSP”) pays careful attention to the information presented on the website, it is exempt from guaranteeing the completeness, accuracy, reliability, and usefulness of the information, and its relevance to users’ purposes. GSP neither guarantees that the website is free from functional discontinuity, errors, deviations, computer viruses or other harmful code that introduce themselves into the website or the web server. GSP is not liable for the troubles, damages or loss caused by the usage of the website or the information on the website. The website is subject to alteration of information on the website and the interruption/discontinuity of the operation of the website without prior notice. GSP is not liable for any damage caused by the interruption/discontinuity of the website, irrespective of reason, nor is it responsible for the content of any websites linked to it.

Linkage

Regarding linking to other websites, please contact GSP with the URL of the to-be-linked website, and the name, address, and contact numbers of a person in charge. Applications may not be accepted, depending on the content of the to-be-linked website and/or the owner’s business or activities, the linking method, or other conditions affecting GSP.

The following links are not permitted:
– Any site which contains content contrary to public order and morals
– Any site that has illegal content, and/or was involved in or seems to have committed illegal acts
– Linkage that obscures the content of the GSP website through frames or in other ways.

Copyrights

Copyrights of the texts, images, illustrations, and data present on the website belong to GSP, provided that there is no proviso. Secondary usage such as the reproduction, dissemination, reproduction for profit, summarization, alteration, translation, upload, notice, public dispatch, transmission, distribution, and publication of the content is not permitted without the written permission of GSP or the copyright holder.

Protection of privacy rights

The website may ask users to provide their private information after clearly informing them of the purpose. In such cases, the collected private information of users is to be used only within the bounds of the stated purpose, and, in principle, not disclosed to any third person or party without the permission of the user(s), except as required by law.
