The Graduate Program on Global Society is dedicated to bringing together students from across the humanities and social sciences interested in studying, from an interdisciplinary perspective, the phenomena and practices that constitute the unfolding process of globalization. The program combines resources from multiple departments, institutes, and programs at the University of Tokyo, Graduate School of Arts and Sciences, allowing students to benefit from access to courses and specialists across an array of disciplines, including Anthropology, Economics, Geography, History, International Relations, Law and Development, Linguistics, Literature, Philosophy, Political Science, Religion, Sociology, and more.

The GSP website has been revamped. In addition to a new, more appealing look, the website now has more informational content about the program and the courses that it offers.
Addition to eligibility requirements for Masters course
In accordance with the Ministry Ordinance Revising the Enforcement Regulations for the School Education Law (Ministry Ordinance 19, in effect from April, 2016), an addition has been made to the eligibility requirements for the GSP Masters program. For details, please click here.
